How much fun are we talking here?
We’re talking river float and the sun is out and there’s no cell reception. We’re talking just arrived at the Airbnb and it has a sauna–with a TV inside. It feels like you’re you, feeling fun, and not worried about what’s next. TLDR: For the perfect night out and a clear morning after.
frequently asked questions
At Cann, we aim to make cannabis-infused beverages a refreshing and approachable option. Our FAQ section covers everything you need to know, from ingredients and effects to where you can find our drinks.
Wait, Passion Peach Mate as in “Yerba Mate”? So this Cann is caffeinated?
Yes! Because it is made with Yerba Mate, this Cann has about as much caffeine as an espresso. However, unlike espresso, Yerba Mate delivers a smoother, longer-lasting energy boost without the harsh jitters or crash.
Is Passion Peach Mate carbonated?
For the first time ever (Spritz doesn’t count), we have added a non-carbonated Cann to our line up, and its name is Passion Peach Mate! Bubbly haters rejoice!
WTF is Cann? And why is it called a Cann Social Tonic?
Our Yerba Mate Social Tonic is infused with a microdose (aka just a tiny bit) of THC* that are as refreshing and social as your favorite cocktail – sans the next-day hangover or regrets. We’re all buzz, no booze.
Because we’re infused with a low dose of THC, we’re the sippable (sessionable) reason to politely decline a beer or glass of wine – and the best way to consume socially. TL;DR we’re the best thing to happen to drinking since drinking. You’re welcome.
We’re perfect for parties: social is our middle name.
*Depending on your location and where you’re shopping, your Cann may contain THC/CBD that is derived from hemp or marijuana. Both hemp and marijuana are the same species of cannabis, which is why in some instances we use “cannabis” for simplicity in this FAQ. However, only **Cann products with THC/CBD derived from hemp are available for purchase on drinkcann.com. See “Market Availability / Hemp Questions” for more information.
How will Cann make me feel?
Cann is alcohol-free but said to feel similar to a glass of wine or beer: light, buzzy, and sociable without feeling out of control. Unlike alcohol, Cann won’t leave you feeling hungover. (We’re all about the buzz baby, not the booze or next-day regrets.)
However, effects and feelings will vary depending on your product of choice as well as your unique cannabis tolerance. With a typical onset of just 10-15 minutes (and the potential to last two-plus hours), we recommend sipping one Cann and building from there.
How many Canns should I have?
Cann is intended to be a sessionable drink, meaning you can control and build your buzz. But your limit is unique to you, boo.
There is no “recommended potency” for microdosed THC drinks. Why? Because a lot of factors influence how you might experience the effects. The most influential is your cannabis tolerance and experience.
With a typical onset of just 10-15 minutes (and the potential to last two-plus hours), we recommend sipping one Cann and building from there.

One and only suggestion would to make a caffeine free mate, like with blackberry lemonade. That would really be amazing!

I wanted to try something different and the Passion Peach Mate hit just right. I enjoyed the taste and uplifting buzz from the bit of caffeine in this Cann. I hope you keep this flavor around for awhile.

I’m personally not a fan of Yerba Mate, but it’s only a hint & it’s still a good product. I’d like to see a Matcha version.. perhaps in the Lavender Lemonade?
